Relationship History[]
Overview[]
They first meet after their suitcases got mixed up at the airport. Diego and Francesca both seemed interested in each other at the start but then Diego went after Violetta instead, because of his deal with Ludmila. Francesca quickly begins to distrust him and never truly supports their relationship. The two of them were dance partners in YouMix dance competition and won alongside León and Violetta. When Francesca finds Diego acting suspicious, she does everything she can to expose him. Once his secret was out, she, much like the rest, was upset with him for hurting Violetta.
During the tour, Diego and Francesca grew closer together. Francesca started to lose feelings for Marco, while Diego started to gain feelings for her. After the rupture between Francesca and her now ex-boyfriend Marco, Diego grew even closer to her. It didn't take long for him to confess that he likes her but Francesca refuses to admit it on her part, she feels guilty to both Violetta and Marco, and lets herself suffer for this. Eventually, Francesca admits she likes him too, despite not wanting to. After many encounters together, the two of them began dating in secret. Though their relationship had its ups and downs, they are together publically when the show ends.

He then wants to tell her something important, and doesn't want her to find out from someone else. But before he can tell her, he sees the others and gets nervous. In episode 9, Francesca wants Diego to tell her what Marco is hiding, but Diego tells her he's not her boyfriend, Marco is, and it's not his place to tell her. Later, Camila tells Francesca again that her friendship with Diego is perhaps more than it seems, and that she gets the feeling that Francesca trusts Diego more than Marco, and although Francesca denies this, she does tell her that Diego actually listens and understands, which is called a friendship. And Camila replies by saying that a friendship stops being a friendship when one starts having feelings for the others, and Francesca quickly shuts her down. When Francesca overhears Marco and Diego talk about her, she asks them about it. Marco panics and tells her that Diego told him to take a break from her.

In episode 11, Francesca tells Camila what happened, and that she feels more unsure than ever now. She thinks it's terrible that Diego likes her because Diego is Marco's best friend, and her best friend's ex. Camila says that Violetta is her friend and she would understand, Francesca says that there is nothing to understand, because she doesn't like Diego that way. When Violetta comes in and asks if they were talking about Diego, Camila says yes, while Francesca gets nervous and says no. Violetta then talks about how much he's changed and Francesca plays it cool, which makes Violetta believe that she doesn't believe he's changed. Camila then says that what Diego needs, is a girlfriend, which makes Francesca jump and say that it's getting late and that they have to go. The next day, Diego and Francesca are getting ice cream together, and Ludmila notices the two. Francesca and Diego share a loving look before they notice Ludmila, and they get scared that she's going to spread rumors. When they remember that Francesca is still with Marco, they calm down. Francesca doesn't think anyone would suspect that there was something going on between the two of them and Diego agrees, calling it ridiculous and then Francesca replies saying it'd be impossible, which seems to offend Diego and he reminds her that it's not impossible, because you can't choose who you fall in love with. They both agree that they're friends and that's what's important.
In episode 12, they confront Ludmila anyway, and Diego asks Francesca if he can talk to Ludmila alone, and Ludmila tells Diego that she can see that he's very obviously in love. Diego tells her that if she tries to hurt anyone, it won't do her any good, and Ludmila keeps quiet. Later, Diego asks Marco once again to tell Francesca what their future holds for them, and Marco finally seems to understand. Francesca tells Marco that she doesn't know what she's feeling, and until Marco decides to tell her what's going on, they shouldn't be together. Marco agrees, and tells her that this relationship isn't fair to her.

In episode 13, Diego comes to the studio to see the others perform, and when Francesca notices him while she's dancing to 'Amor en el Aire/Love Is In The Air', Diego smiles and winks at her. During the performance, Diego is being sent away by Milton, when the song is over, Francesca runs after him, asking him where he's going, and tells him that she's glad he came. Later, Marco and Francesca get into an argument again, and Camila tells her that instead of worrying so much about her ex, she should think about herself. Francesca tells her that she's not in the mood and walks away, but once she's alone she starts thinking about everything Diego has said and done for her in the last few weeks and realizes what she has to do. When she starts walking, she sees Diego hugging a girl.

In episode 14, Francesca walks away annoyed, and Camila saw it all. That evening, Francesca talks with Olga and Violetta about guys being with other girls while in a relationship, like how it's hurtful and humiliating. Violetta asks if something happened with Marco, but she says she's just trying to step into their shoes to understand how they feel. The next day, Francesca and Camila see Diego hugging that same girl again, and Camila asks Francesca if she's okay, and she says that she's fine and that this is actually the best day of her life because Diego and her are just friends, or actually, they're not anything so he can do whatever he wants. When Diego walks up to them and asks them how they are, Francesca immediately gets angry and walks away. Diego asks Camila what's up with her and Camila asks angrily when he was going to tell them about his girlfriend. Diego is confused and asks what girlfriend, and Camila looks annoyed and walks away, while asking her a second time, Diego comes to realize what they're talking about. Later, Diego plays a song to this girl nearby Francesca and Camila. When Francesca notices this she calls him annoying and wants to leave, but won't admit that she's jealous. Diego follows her and asks if she's okay because she's a little angry and distant but Francesca says that she's fine, he asks if it's because of Érica, and wants to introduce them, but Francesca runs away when Érica introduces herself. Érica, who is his mother's goddaughter, tells him that he shouldn't hurt her and just tell her how he feels. And Diego agrees, however, it's not that simple because Francesca is his best friend's ex-girlfriend.

In episode 15, Érica tells Diego that if Francesca's jealous because of her, then she feels the same as he does, and now they're both hurting. Diego says that she's right and that he will talk to her. Later, Marco tells Diego that he finally told Francesca about London, and Diego tells him it's good that he told her but worries that Francesca is mad at him for knowing all along. When Diego is stressed about his father, Érica asks him to sing her song but to please not make Francesca jealous, however, Francesca walks in without them noticing when he's singing her a song, rolls her eyes, and leaves. Camila then comes in and tells them that she was waiting for Fran, but saw her running out of there so fast, and can now see why. Diego is shocked to learn that Francesca was just there, and Camila tells him to leave Francesca alone and stay with his girlfriend. Érica interrupts her and says that she's not his girlfriend, and Diego tells her that she's family. Camila then asks him why he didn't tell them and asks if he did this to make Francesca jealous and walks away annoyed. Érica then tells Diego to go find Francesca and tell her everything, and that she doesn't want to hear any excuses, and he runs out. When Diego finds her, he immediately tells her and Francesca looks relieved but plays it cool by asking why he thinks that would affect her, to which he replies that they both know it does. She then tells him that she's angry with him because he knew about Marco leaving and thus chose to hurt her, he answers saying that it wasn't his place to tell her and that he didn't want her to suffer. Francesca is still not convinced and Diego apologizes for meddling but she's still annoyed, Diego then suggests to stop arguing, and that he would do anything for her. She doesn't want to hear it but he asks her to let him finish, he tells her that she's an incredible person and that anybody would fall in love with her. She asks him what he means to which he replies that she knows exactly what he means, even if it's hard for him to admit.

In episode 16, Diego tells Francesca that she's very important to him, but she won't let go that he didn't tell her what was going on when he knew she was hurting, and Diego interrupts her and tells her that he loves her, which makes her fall silent. He wants to tell her all his feelings but she stops him, and tells him that it's better to not keep talking like this, and she leaves. At the studio, it's clear that she's frustrated and when Camila asks what Diego told her she tells her that Diego told her he loves her but she doesn't care. Camila tells her that she can't just ignore what she feels, but Francesca doesn't want to hurt everyone she loves, meaning Violetta and Marco, and she says that she will never get together with Diego, and that she doesn't feel anything for him, and if she were, she would just forget about him, even if she has to move back to Italy to do it. Camila goes to Diego to talk about him and tells him that they should talk and that he has to show her that he loves her and cares about her, all the time. Shortly after Camila leaves, Diego tries to call Francesca, she hits ignore, so he calls Camila and asks her for a favor. The next day, Francesca calls Camila and tells her she's at their meeting point, but doesn't see her there. Diego then rows in a boat behind her and tells her that Camila is never going to show up and that he had to ask for her help because Francesca kept ignoring his calls, and invites her into his boat, but Francesca doesn't want to. Diego then tells her that if she doesn't get in, she will never hear what he has to say, but if she leaves, he promises that he will leave her alone forever, if that's what she wants, which makes her reconsider.

In episode 18, they quickly hide under a table, and try to get away. When a waiter notices them, Diego says he lost his contact lens. When they're near the door they stand up and try to run out, but they accidentally bump the waiter who lets his trays fall, which makes León and Violetta look their way, but they are out before they can see them. Diego thinks their escape plan was madness but Francesca reminds him that Violetta is her best friend and would immediately suspect them if she saw them. Diego then calls what they have a relationship and says that they knew it was going to be difficult, but isn't it well worth the risk? Francesca tells him that she needs time to make a decision, and Diego grabs her hands and tells her that it will all be alright, and she's starting to believe him. The next day, Diego comes to the studio because he was missing Francesca and wants to spend all afternoon with her, he tries to ask her not to be mad at him as soon as she sees him, but it's no use. Right then, Violetta walks up to them and Francesca gets nervous, and Violetta looks at her suspiciously. When Diego leaves, Violetta asks if everything is okay and she says yes, and when she notices that she doesn't believe her, she makes up a lie. Violetta then tells Francesca that she misses Diego, and Francesca gets stressed, but Violetta meant now that he's not in the studio anymore. But despite everything that happened, she really loves him. Francesca asks if she meant loved, and Vilu says yes. She then says that she knows Diego really loved her, which makes Francesca even more nervous, and that he's changed a lot. Francesca then makes up an excuse to leave. Later, Diego meets Francesca at a restaurant, and she thanks him for coming as soon as she called. Diego replies that he will always be there for whatever she needs. Francesca tells him that she called Marco and he had said that he was sure that she'd never hurt him, and Diego immediately knows where she's going with this conversation, and tries to change her mind. She then tells him everything Violetta told her, and that she thought she'd be able to do it, but she can't and decides that they really cannot be together.

In episode 19, Diego tells her that she's stronger than she thinks she is. And that if she wants to be with him, they can work this out no matter how difficult. Francesca walks out of the restaurant after telling Diego that he may be right, but she doesn't want to, which he finds hard to believe. The next day, he shows up at the studio and Francesca tells him that she really doesn't want to talk, and Diego says that he didn't come there to talk. He came there to look at her. He says 'I look at you... and I realise that you still love me' and no matter how hard she tries, she will never be able to forget him and the worst thing about all of this is that she's hurting herself. Marco then comes in and after Diego tells him that he can't deny that Francesca has the best smile in the studio, Marco says that they are his best friends, and he hopes that Diego finds someone like Francesca one day, and that she finds someone like him. And Diego says that he hopes that too. After Gregorio tells his son that his relationship with his mother was in secret, too, and that he truly believes that love always finds a way, Diego tells Francesca this same thing. He then tells her that his feelings for her will not go away and she starts tearing up, looks away, and quietly says that she hates him. Diego looks down, feeling confused, and maybe even feeling sorry, but then he finds the courage to look up at her again. She then looks at him and says that she hates that she likes him so much, and he is relieved. She sorrowfully tells him that she can't forget about him and she doesn't want to, and they hug.

In episode 21, the tour is canceled following the death of Antonio, and everyone goes back home. One week later, the Studio opens again, and Francesca tells Diego that he has no idea how much she wishes he were there to go in with her. Diego wants to hold her hand, because he thinks enough time has passed to stop hiding, but she scoots back. Later, Diego and Francesca get coffee together at a restaurant. They talk about their future as artists, and Diego tells her that no matter what decision she makes, he will be with her, always accompanying her.

In episode 22, Francesca tells Diego that she wants to go out with him, normally, like normal people, and have a normal date, without having to worry about people seeing them all the time; a romantic date. And Diego says that they are going to have the date she wants, in a place where the others don't come. He asks for her hand and Francesca hesitates but gives in, and he asks her out, formally, on a date tonight. But when she finishes rehearsing that night, just when Francesca is about to leave, all the other students walk in and Violetta asks her to practice with them for her father's wedding. Francesca tries to decline, but the others are somewhat forcing her to stay, and she nervously practices with them, despite getting none of the steps right because she can only think about Diego, especially as her phone keeps ringing. Diego keeps calling her because he is having a bad day and is begging her to pick up. When she's finally able to take a break she runs to her phone, and wants to go somewhere and talk to Diego, but Violetta then tells her that she broke up with León, and Francesca decides to talk with her best friend instead. When she gets back to practicing, Diego, now at the restaurant, still keeps calling her, which she notices. Diego then leaves her a voicemail saying that he can't believe she's not there and not picking up her phone because he needed her more than ever today, and he gets up and is about to leave, but then sees Alex. When they're finally done at the studio, Francesca rushes to her phone and wants to leave, but Pablo comes in with bad news, and she rolls her eyes.

In episode 23, Diego finally picks up after Francesca tried calling him several times, she apologizes and tries to explain why she ghosted him, and asks him to understand. But Diego is still upset and hangs up. The next day, Francesca finds Diego and brings him flowers to apologize and asks him to forgive her, and Diego says he'll think about it. Francesca says that she wanted nothing more than to have dinner with him, they both agree that it's time to tell Violetta. She promises to make another reservation but Diego says they can't go back there because Alex works there, and she promises to find them another place. Diego then tells her what's been bothering him and Francesca comforts him.

In episode 24, Francesca tells Camila about her failed date with Diego, and Camila can't believe they're still having dates in secret and calls it romantic, and says she wants that too. Later, Francesca tells Diego that he's been so mad about his father's decision that he hasn't even realized the positive, which is that they'd get to each other daily, without having to hide, and asks him to think about it. Diego doesn't want to talk about it and asks her for a hug, and Francesca wants a short one, which makes Diego laugh and hug her longer than she wants to, and Gregorio walks in. Francesca leaves nervously and Gregorio asks with his eyes if they're together, and Diego asks them to not tell anyone what he's seen, and he promises he won't. After arguing, Gregorio tells Diego that they make a cute couple.

In episode 25, Francesca hides her double life as Fausta from Diego, while hiding her relationship with Diego from Violetta, which makes her all really stressed out. When Diego finds the girls, Francesca wants to leave the whole situation and Diego offers to walk her home, but Francesca lies about not going home, and leaves. When Violetta also leaves nervously, Diego is left confused. Later, Diego came to find Francesca and gives her a kiss, right before Violetta walks up to them, and Francesca decides it's time to tell her, but Violetta can only think about León and Gery, and drags Francesca with her again. While playing a song as Roxy and Fausta, Diego calls Francesca.

In episode 26, Diego sends Francesca a message and calls her again, right after Fausta just lied to León about having a broken phone, and she lies again. Once they leave, Francesca tells Violetta that she's sick of lying all the time and that she's done with all of it and wants to take off her wig, but then Diego walks in and they try to hide. Diego then calls Francesca again, and her phone loudly goes off and Violetta tells her to shut it off, Diego then leaves a voicemail and leaves. Violetta then tells her to relax because he's gone but Francesca loses it and tells her angrily that she cannot live in a disguise all the time, and asks Violetta what they would have done if Diego saw them. But Violetta is not worried at all, because he didn't. Later, Diego finds Francesca at the Studio again and tells her that it's her fault that he has to find her here, because she didn't answer any of his calls. When Francesca comes up with an excuse, Diego tells her that he knows she's lying, and she says they're both lying, but he knows this is different. He knows that she is hiding something and asked if she told Violetta about them, and Francesca says that Violetta refuses to listen, but she can't keep doing this. Diego agrees, but still doesn't think it's the right moment. She sighs deeply and he takes her hands and asks her sympathetically what's wrong and why she's acting so weird with him. When Gregorio appears behind them, Diego tells her that they will talk and leaves. Francesca awkwardly stands back, and when Gregorio notices, he tells her that he's glad they're together, it does him good because now he knows that Diego needs someone to unload and chat with. Francesca asks him to not tell anyone and he won't tell anyone, especially if it's his son's secret and understands that they have their reasons, or need time, and he just wants what's best for him, even though Diego is not realizing it. Francesca tells him that he just needs time, and leaves. The next day, Violetta tells Francesca that their double lives have only just begun, but Francesca is begging Violetta to end this madness and tells her that she doesn't want any more problems because she's already loaded with them as it is. Later, they go to the garage, what Fausta thinks is the last time, and Diego calls her again, meanwhile Andrés is crushing on Fausta. When Francesca returns to the studio, she sees Diego and he firmly tells her that she can't blame him for being there when she won't answer his calls and tells her that he doesn't want her to lie to him any more, and says that he knows why she won't but wants to know if she has enough courage to tell him the truth.

In episode 27, Diego thinks Francesca is avoiding him because it's hard on her to maintain a secret relationship, and thinks she's drifting away from him and wants to break up. But Francesca quickly tells him that she doesn't, she loves him and she hasn't thought about breaking up with him for even a second. She apologizes for not answering his calls, but Diego doesn't understand why she's so distant and avoiding him all the time. But she assures him that she's not, takes his hand and asks him to trust her. She then immediately goes to Violetta to tell her that she won't participate in this madness anymore, Violetta tells her that they can't, but Francesca firmly says to count her out and leaves. The next day, Diego overhears Francesca when she firmly tells Violetta again that she wants to make sure that this ends, and he asks what it's about. Violetta tells him that spying is wrong, and that it's a conversation between friends. She then asks Francesca to go and Francesca tells her to go ahead because she needs something from her locker, which is an excuse to talk to Diego. He wants her to tell him what she's hiding and what has to end, afraid that it's about their relationship. But Francesca doesn't want to tell him, and leaves. They show up as Roxy and Fausta at León's garage and Francesca immediately tries to tell León that they won't be coming back there, but Violetta says that they're going to keep coming, and as they argue about the topic, Diego walks in behind them and asks León to introduce him while Violetta and Francesca try to hide behind their wigs as much as they possibly can. León introduces Roxy, but when he can't remember Fausta's name and gets stuck on the letter F, Diego says Francesca's name.

In episode 28, Diego says that Francesca is calling him as he grabs his phone, which is a relief to the girls. When León remembers Fausta's name, Diego says it's nice to meet her and kisses her on the cheek, and says she has a pretty name. Francesca tells him thanks, full of embarrassment. She once again insists that they should leave, and after some resistance from Violetta, they leave. Diego amusedly tells León that Fausta is very cute, and tells him that if he wants, they could set up a double date, but León doesn't think that she likes him very much. Diego then leaves, quickly following the girls. Away from the situation, Francesca tells Violetta that she can't believe she made her go through all that. Diego walks in, very amused by the situation, and Francesca sarcastically laughs and claps in her hands, and Diego can only laugh. Violetta asks him how he knew, and he says he followed them, which Violetta doesn't like, but Francesca says that the point is that he knows. Diego looks at her and says that he'd like to know what they are doing. Violetta says that it's none of his business but Diego immediately guesses that she's disguised so she can hang out with León. Francesca rests her head on her hand and looks at Violetta, amused by her boyfriend's intelligence, and says that she is indeed disguised to spy on León when Violetta tries to come up with an excuse. Violetta is offended by her best friend's betrayal but Diego laughs, and Francesca reminds her that he already has it all figured out anyway. Diego then looks at her and asks who she is seeing, and Francesca says that she's not seeing anyone, she got dragged into this by her friend and she doesn't even know why she's doing this. Violetta asks Diego to keep it a secret, and Diego says he will, but it's wrong to lie like this, and that it's not a good idea, and Francesca gets nervous at those words. When Violetta leaves, Diego looks at Francesca and she puts her hand in the air and tells him not to say anything. Once changed, Francesca and Diego get something to eat and drink, and laugh about the situation. Diego says that it wasn't his imagination, she was hiding something from him. She apologizes but says that she promised her friend not to tell anyone, he then stares at her admiringly and tells her that he loves her so much because she's such a good friend, who is totally loyal to everyone, and who follows her in anything. Francesca doesn't think she's much of a good friend, and Diego says that he thinks she is but asks her to stop hiding things from him, because all he wants is to be part of her life and they just have to trust each other from now on. Francesca nods and shapes her hands into a heart, Diego starts laughing and leans in to hug her.
In episode 29, Francesca struggles with having to keep two secrets from everyone, and confides in Diego. Diego tells her that they are going to have more time to spend together, because he's going to work at the Studio. When Francesca doesn't respond enthusiastically, he looks disappointed and thought she would take it as good news, because she was the one who told him that it would be good for him. Francesca says that he's right, but things have changed, because she's not just Francesca anymore, she's also Fausta now. He tells her not to worry, because they will do what it takes to keep everything a secret. But she doesn't think she can or wants to, which makes Diego afraid that she's going to break up with him, but she doesn't. When Camila walks in and not so subtly tells her she has to perform as Fausta, Francesca tells her that she doesn't have to pretend because Diego already knows, and Camila is a little offended that he knew before her. Before they leave, Diego tells her to relax, and that it will all be fine. At the studio, Francesca is anxious about it all and when Fausta gets scolded by Gregorio after messing up her high note at the rehearsal, she snaps, and yells that she can't do this anymore, and Diego is taken aback.

In episode 30, Francesca runs out nervously and Diego whispers to her sympathetically but she runs past him. He wants to follow her, but Camila says it'd be better if he doesn't, considering Violetta is right there. Once Violetta has found her, Francesca says that it's not just pretending to be Fausta that's making her upset, and is about to tell her about her relationship with Diego, but then Diego appears behind Violetta, and she changes her mind. When Violetta leaves, Diego says that he knows how she feels and she whimpers, and says that it all weighs really heavy on her. She can't pretend to be Fausta one more day in her life, she will never make it. Diego grabs her hand and says that she can do this, and when she whimpers again, he tells her it will all be alright and gives her a big hug. That night, Francesca walks in on Diego composing a song and says she likes it. He says that this melody didn't exist until he saw her, and she grins and says how romantic. He then tells her that she can't even think about leaving, because he needs her to keep composing. She throws her hands in the air and says that this is her place, and sits down next to him. At the wedding, Diego finds Francesca fixing her make-up and tells her that she doesn't need any more make-up because she's beautiful in every way. Francesca smiles but then tells him that he can't say things like this to her when they're surrounded by everyone they know, so Diego proposes to get out of here. She asks where, and he says where he can tell her what he wants to tell her. Later, Diego looks back at Francesca, when the bride tells the groom that the moment she met him she found out true love exists, and Francesca smiles but then remembers that everyone can see them and looks away.

In episode 31, it makes Francesca nervous to be talking with Diego in public, but Diego tells her to relax because everyone thinks they're just friends. Francesca then tells him that they were never just friends, and her friends would suspect something. Later, Fausta comes in on Diego, Broduey and Andrés talking and asks if they've seen Roxy. When they all say that they haven't, she leaves, and both Broduey and Andrés are mesmerized by her. Andrés asks if the others see what he's seeing, and Diego gets nervous and turns around. Andrés thinks Fausta is beautiful, which grabs Diego's attention again, and he says that he doesn't really think so and Broduey can't believe that Diego doesn't see that she's cute, and Andrés calls her gorgeous. Diego says that he thinks they're overreacting, but this doesn't change anything for the boys. Andrés asks if they think she would go out with him, Broduey thinks so, but Diego nervously says no. Andrés seems hurt and asks him why not, and Diego says that she's not his type, and that they would never work as a couple. Andrés then asks what his type is and Diego says that he doesn't know, but Fausta is definitely not his type, which makes Andrés think that he thinks that Fausta is too good for him. Broduey says if he likes her, he should just ask her out, which Diego is very much against. But the guys ignore him, and decide that Andrés is in fact going to ask her out, much to Diego's dismay. Later, they ask Federico's help with asking out Fausta, while Diego nervously observes, but then laughs when Andrés tells them how nervous he gets around girls. When Federico tells him an Italian phrase that always works in his country, Diego finds the situation even more amusing (considering his girlfriend is in fact Italian, but Fausta is not), but seems to get jealous when Federico is actually serious about teaching him the phrase. After letting them rattle for a while, Diego has had enough and firmly tells them to stop, because Fausta is not going to want to go out with Andrés and thinks it's ridiculous that they think she's going to say yes just because he spits out a few words in Italian. Andrés then asks him how he knows she won't like him speaking Italian, and asks if he wants to ask her out himself, but Diego denies. When the guys leave chanting an expression used to denote manliness, he looks somewhat annoyed. When Andrés tells the phrase to Fausta, Diego carefully observes. But when Francesca sees him she tries to grab his attention to help her out, and he does, which is a huge relief to her, and they leave together. Francesca then nervously asks Diego about Andrés crush but Diego reminds her that he doesn't want to go out with her, just with Fausta, to which she replies that she is in fact Fausta. Francesca can't believe she has to deal with this too, but Diego says it's not that bad, if he asks again, she should just say no. But Francesca knows her friends, and says that he will not leave her alone, and the others will keep encouraging him. She then yells that everything is a problem, and Diego says not everything, because he's here and he's saving her, but Francesca is still unsure. Then he jokes about leaving and turns around, and she quickly pleads for him to stay, and says that it's very good that he's here, and they give each other a big hug. But then Francesca pushes Diego away, when she sees Violetta staring at them.

In episode 32, Violetta looks around confused and walks up to them. Francesca gets nervous but Diego whispers to let him talk. He says that they're pretending for Andrés, but Violetta doesn't understand. When he explains that Andrés likes Fausta, Violetta apologizes to Francesca for putting her in this situation, and asks if they want to tell Andrés the truth but they all agree that it would be best not to tell only him. Violetta asks Diego if he's sure, and he says that he's completely sure, and she thanks him. Diego turns around with a big smile on his face when he realizes he can grab Francesca's hands now, and they walk out together. Later, Violetta tells Francesca it's weird to see her hugging Diego and Francesca asks if it's weird in a good or bad way. Violetta says that she knows Francesca doesn't want to lie, and Francesca then tells her that she wants to come clean, now that they're talking about lies, but Violetta doesn't hear her out. When Francesca tries again, Camila walks up to them and her chance is gone again. At the same time, Andrés walks in on Diego practicing his new song. Andrés asks him if he could get Fausta's email for him, considering Diego has access to all the student's contact information. Diego tells him to forget it, and if he wants to ask her her email, he should do it himself, but quickly tells him to forget that too because Fausta isn't the girl for him, and quickly leaves. The next day, Diego sings his new song in front of the others, and Andrés keeps looking at Fausta, which makes her nervous. When Diego gets to the bridge, he turns around and sings the rest of the song to Francesca, which she enjoys. When they are about to leave, Andrés wants to talk to Fausta, who tries to flee but he won't let her, when Diego notices he makes up an excuse, and they leave together. Once outside, Diego wants to kiss her but Francesca avoids him, she may be disguised as Fausta, but she is done with all the lies, especially about Fausta and Diego dating. She thinks that if they keep adding lies, it'll get more and more difficult, or perhaps even impossible, for Violetta to forgive them when they do tell her. Diego thinks that Fausta might come in handy, if she sees them as boyfriend and girlfriend now, it'll be less of a surprise to her later. But Francesca doesn't like any of it, Diego then reminds her that technically, they aren't lying, because they really are in love, and the most they have to tell Andrés is that they're together, so that he will leave her alone. Andrés then appears behind them, and tells him that he doesn't have to because he already knows. He is upset because Diego said he wasn't interested in Fausta, but when he saw him sing to her, he realized he lied and he calls him the worst friend in the world.

In episode 33, Diego doesn't agree, but Andrés calls him a liar and doesn't believe anything Diego is saying, and then apologizes to Fausta, who looks uncomfortable. When Andrés leaves, Francesca feels bad, and says that she doesn't want Andrés to be mad at him and calling him a bad friend because of her. But Diego tells her not to worry about it, he will talk to him. Francesca agrees and says that she will talk to Violetta, she's done with the lies, especially after Violetta had just called her her best friend. Diego says she is because she is willing to do what any other wouldn't, she's incredible and the best friend in the world. Francesca doesn't think so and says he only says this because he loves her to which Diego replies that she has no idea how much, then he asks her to please stop being so hard on herself, and they hug. At the studio, Andrés tells the boys that Diego and Fausta are together, and Maxi doesn't think it's that hard to understand. When Andrés tells them that Diego hasn't changed, no one agrees. Diego then walks in and asks if they can talk, but Andrés doesn't want to, and Diego lets it go. Later, Diego tries again and says that when he said he wasn't interested in Fausta, he wasn't lying because they had just met. But Andrés doesn't buy it, and says that he's still the same and will expose him to everyone, especially to Fausta. Diego tells him to forget about Fausta, but Andrés says that he's even more interested in her now. When Francesca walks in as Fausta, Diego tells her that Andrés is determined to fight for her, and Francesca rolls her eyes.

In episode 34, when Diego enters and sees Francesca dancing around the studio, he does a slide in her direction and they almost bump into each other. Diego says that he's been looking for her and never knows who he'd find, Francesca or Fausta or Romualda. Francesca shushes but then chuckles at the third name that comes out of his mouth and says that it happens to her too. Then, Diego start talking loudly about a folder and then quietly asks her out, Francesca loudly participates in the folder conversation but then quietly says that she can't because she isn't in the mood. Diego asks why, while still keeping their act up, and asks if it's because of Violetta. Francesca says that she really wanted to and rehearsed it a thousand times in her head, and Diego can't believe that she rehearsed it and laughs. Later, Diego finds Francesca at her locker and Francesca wants to talk about where they can go after rehearsal together but Diego doesn't think it's the right moment. Francesca asks if he doesn't have time for her and he says that his whole life is hers, but he doesn't think anyone should see them together. Francesca says it's fine because everyone knows that Fausta and Diego are together, Diego then asks if she knows that she is Francesca right now, and Francesca is startled when she looks at her outfit, she thought she was Fausta and says that she doesn't even know who she is anymore. Diego replies that even if she doesn't know who she is, she's still the most beautiful girl in the world, that doesn't change. Andrés then bumps into Diego and Diego asks if he saw him, but Andrés is still upset with Diego and replies that it's not his fault that Diego is always in his way. Diego asks if this is about Fausta, but Andrés says that he's right; Diego is a liar and proved that he's still the same as before. Francesca then steps in and tells Andrés to calm down, and that he is being really unfair to Diego. Andrés tells her that she doesn't know him as well as she thinks she does, because he is fooling everyone. Maxi then steps in, and asks why he's attacking Diego now. Andrés can't believe that they're defending him and says he thought they were his friends. Francesca and Maxi tell him that they are his friends, but so is Diego. Andrés replies that they can't both be their friends, they're either his friend or Diego's friend, and leaves.

In episode 35, Andrés tells Fausta that he doesn't care if Diego is her boyfriend, she has to know how he feels about her. When Diego is rehearsing his song on stage, Francesca stares at him admiringly, and after Gregorio is done telling him how proud he is of him, Francesca tells him that she's also very proud of him and she'd love to give him a hug but says she can't. Diego asks why and closes the doors, Francesca says that the whole world would know but he shushes her and welcomes her into his arms, they chuckle but Francesca lets go, and Diego says that she needed it. He opens the door with a grin, and they walk out. Right before the show, Camila guards the door as Diego and Francesca wish each other luck and give each other a big hug.

In episode 36, Diego gives Fausta a large bouquet of flowers after the show as Violetta looks at them, longing to get her relationship with León back. At the same time Andrés walks in with a bouquet of flowers for Fausta too, but looks disappointed when he sees that his are smaller than Diego's. She thanks him and says that they're beautiful, and her favourites. When Francesca sees how sad Violetta is, she tells Diego that she can't tell her about them now. Diego asks her to please not be afraid, and that he's here with her. Later, Diego and Francesca sing 'Tienes Todo/Give It All' together, which is the first time they sing as just the two of them. When they finish, Francesca laughs and Diego asks her to keep smiling and think about the beautiful day and amazing show they had, and that he couldn't ask for more. Francesca says she can, to be able to be with him. He says he's here, but she says that she isn't, meaning, not as herself but as Fausta. She doesn't want Fausta to be Diego's girlfriend, she wants Francesca to be. Diego tells her not to worry about it and proposes to disappear the next day, together, and go somewhere where nobody can see them, and Francesca agrees. When Camila walks up, they talk about Ludmila finding out about them, just when Broduey appears behind Francesca and Diego, and heard everything. Diego tries to defend the girls, but Broduey is upset. After some arguing, Broduey promises not to tell anyone if they stop this charade soon. At the garage, Broduey tells Andrés to forget about Fausta, because she's Diego's girlfriend, anyway. When Andrés wants to keep fighting for her, Federico tells him that it's wrong because she has a boyfriend and Maxi agrees. At the same time, Diego and Francesca are biking together, and afterward they walk in a side hug, but quickly let go when they see Violetta. She rants to them about León, and doesn't even notice that they're spending time together. When Violetta leaves in the same hurry she arrived in, Diego and Francesca look disappointed.

In episode 37, Maxi discovers that Roxy and Fausta are Violetta and Francesca and is worried about Diego having feelings for someone who isn't real. Violetta walks in the restaurant Diego and Francesca are in and tells them that she couldn't tell León the truth, and Francesca tells Diego that it's the same struggle for her and that Violetta is never going to forgive her. Diego tells her that he will be by her side whatever the outcome will be, but she'd have to do it soon because everyone is going to find out soon enough, now that they're realizing that Francesca is Fausta, and Violetta shouldn't be the last one to find out. When Violetta comes back she tells them that Roxy is never going to come back, and they come up with a plan to tell Andrés. After walking out and letting the girls talk, Diego sees León, Broduey and Maxi right outside the restaurant, and he calls Francesca to let her know. When the boys see Violetta and Roxy together, everyone is confused, but Diego realizes what's going on and sends them away. The next day, Diego and Francesca sing 'Aprendí a Decir Adiós/Anything Can Happen' in another restaurant together, and talk about how they're going to tell the others that they're dating, without people suspecting that Diego never really loved Fausta. When Andrés and Maxi walk in, they pretend that Diego is sad because he just broke up with his girlfriend. Andrés tells him that he's glad he's no longer with Fausta and Francesca says that Andrés should leave Fausta alone, but Andrés is determined to talk to her and leaves. Maxi then tells Diego and Francesca that the lying has got to stop.

In episode 38, León asks Diego how he contacted Roxy and Fausta. Diego gets nervous and tells him that he doesn't have it, and León is confused because Diego dated Fausta. After doing some thinking, Diego tells León that it was in fact through Fausta, but he has to ask her permission to tell him. Diego starts texting nervously and then rushes to Francesca, who is at Violetta's house, and tells her that León is calling Fausta. Francesca is confused and nervously tells him that she doesn't want to talk to León, and Fausta doesn't even have a phone. Diego explains that he was pressured into giving León an old number he no longer uses, and pushes the phone in Francesca's hands, who still really does not want to talk to him. When the phone starts ringing, Francesca nervously pushes the phone back into Diego's hands, but Diego, Violetta and Camila all pressure her into answering. When Francesca answers as Fausta, Diego can only laugh at his girlfriend's answers. But Francesca leaves angrily afterward, and Diego follows her. Violetta yells that she should be the one to talk to her because she is her friend, but Camila grabs her and says that she should let him talk to her. Diego asks Francesca to wait for him, but Francesca needs fresh air. Diego then apologizes to her and says that he didn't know what to do, Francesca sighs but tells him that it's not his fault, she would have done the same. Diego then tells her that she doesn't deserve to be in this place, and that he took terrible care of her. He wants to grab her hands but doesn't, because they're still in Violetta's house. Diego offers to tell Violetta the whole truth together, but when Olga notices Francesca's sad face, she asks Diego if he did something to her, and Diego asks if she really thinks he would do something like that, and then follows Francesca out the door. The next day, when the Rock Bones are performing their goodbye song, Francesca and Diego dance together. Later, Francesca accidentally leaves her phone on her locker and leaves with Camila. When Diego calls her, Maxi finds the phone and answers it. Diego answers and opens up with 'mi amor/my love', and when Francesca comes back for her phone, Maxi asks her since when she is Diego's love. Francesca looks confused at first, but is then shocked when Maxi asks if they are dating while she sees Diego with his phone in his hands, and they look at each other nervously.

In episode 39, Francesca denies dating Diego, but Diego tells him the truth. Francesca tells him that no one else can find out, but Maxi doesn't want to keep lying for her. He doesn't understand why they make such a big deal out of this and says they're making an easy thing difficult. Diego and Francesca tell him that they're trying to find the right moment to tell Violetta, and that it has to be them to tell her, and Maxi says they have to do it soon, because he doesn't want to be an accomplice to any more lies. The next day, Francesca ignores Diego's phone call. When Camila asks, she tells her that Diego just doesn't get it, she didn't want Diego to tell Maxi the truth without consultation and she couldn't even imagine if Violetta found out through someone else, and her anxiety creeps in as she starts to doubt if Diego genuinely changed. But Camila tells her that Francesca knows herself that Diego really did change, and to stop hurting herself over this anxiety. Later, Francesca walks in on Diego singing 'Ser Quien Soy/Love Is All', and doesn't say anything until he looks at her. She asks him if he's not even a little bit worried about Maxi telling Violetta about them, but he isn't, and she frustratingly tells him that while he was working on his song, she had to talk Maxi down. Diego says that he never thought that Maxi would talk, but Francesca did and says that it would have been really bad if he had, and he just told Maxi the truth without consulting with her. She reminds him that Violetta is her best friend, and she can't lose her, and he is not helping. He asks why she's talking to him like this and she tells him that she's angry. He reminds her that he's always said that she has to tell her best friend the truth, and Francesca reminds him that she doesn't want to lie to her best friend and only does it because she's scared, but clearly to him, it's all really simple. Diego then realizes what she's feeling but Francesca walks out, and he's left full of regret. He then follows her, but she doesn't want to talk anymore because they will end up fighting again. Diego says he doesn't want to fight, he just wants to talk, but Francesca increases her speed and tries to run away from him. She keeps running away from him, but now it's turned into a game and they're both laughing. When he catches her, he tells her amused that she can't escape now, and they kiss, right behind Violetta.

In episode 41, Diego asks Francesca if they can talk about what happened while she's talking with Camila, but she says she's not in the mood. He scoffs and walks away and Francesca sighs, when Camila asks what happened, she tells her about their breakup. Later, Francesca comes to rehearse with Diego, but tells him not to say anything and that she stands by her decision, but she promises him that if he needs her for anything, she will be there for him. But Diego responds by saying he doesn't want her to be his friend, if she can't be his girlfriend, he doesn't want anything from her. However, when they start playing the song, their feelings get in the way and they keep getting closer to one another. When they finish the song, Diego says that despite her saying that she doesn't want to be with him, he knows she's lying, she still loves him. He grabs her by her waist and pulls her closer and right when they are about to kiss, Camila wakes Francesca up because she kept singing the song she was singing with Diego in her sleep. The next day, most of the dream seems to become reality, except Francesca falls into a trance when she stares at him singing her song and forgets to sing her part. They try again but this time it's Diego who can't finish the song and Francesca is scared it will actually play it out like how it did in her dream. Diego doesn't understand and puts away his guitar, and pulls her closer, and she doesn't stop him.

In episode 42, reality hits Francesca and she pulls away. She tells him that she still thinks it's best to stay separated, but doesn't deny her feelings for him when he asks about them once again. Diego finds the situation somewhat amusing, knowing that she can't keep this up forever, and they try another take. The next day, Diego shows his song to the younger students, and when Francesca walks by she stares at him in the doorway. When he notices, they smile at one another and he keeps singing for her. When she decides that it's best to walk away, suddenly Diego appears before her in the hallway. He tells her that he understands her decision, it took a lot of courage and he wouldn't have been able to do it. Then, he agrees that they can't be together, and it's best to tell each other goodbye now. He says that she will always be his best memory and tells her that he loves her, says goodbye, kisses her on the cheek and walks away. Francesca doesn't want this and tries to stop him, but after yelling his name she wakes up startled. She sits up in her bed and looks relieved that it was just a dream, but cannot stop thinking about Diego. That morning, Francesca wants to comfort Diego after he and his father were fighting, but decides that it's best not to and walks away. When Diego starts showing his song to the younger students like it did in her dream, Francesca is worried that he will appear before her and tell her goodbye. She closes her eyes and quickly turns around, and sighs with relief when he's not there when she slowly opens her eyes again. Later, Diego approaches Francesca at her locker and before he can say what he wants to say, Francesca stops him. Diego asks her to let him speak and he says that he knows she broke up with him because she's afraid of telling the truth to Violetta, and all the consequences that come with it. But she has to tell her sooner or later that they are, or were, boyfriend and girlfriend at some time. And the only thing that comes out of this breakup is her having to face all that alone. He tells her that she knows he loves her, and he knows that she loves him, but if she truly wants to distance herself from him, he won't bother her ever again. He asks her what she thinks, but she doesn't know what to say and just shakes her head. Diego takes that as an answer and turns around and walks away, but Francesca tells him to wait, she doesn't want to lose him. This puts a big smile on Diego's face and he rushes back to her to give her a hug, and she hugs him back just as tightly.

In episode 43, Francesca asks Diego to forgive her but Diego is just happy to be getting back together and tells her that no matter what, he is here with her. She hugs him again but quickly lets go when she remembers that they can't be seen together. Diego says that the time of not having to hide anymore will be soon, which makes Francesca so happy that she hugs him once again, but he reminds her that they can't be seen and laughs as he leaves. That night, Andrés tells Diego that he knows he is in love with Francesca and promises not to tell anyone, especially Francesca. He doesn't want to hurt her because she only tried to help a friend, and she never could have imagined that the two of them would fall in love with a girl that doesn't exist. The next day, Francesca is singing her song outside, and smiles when she sees Diego approach her. But right before Diego crosses the road, Andrés appears from around the corner, also smiling at Francesca, who then stops singing, and Diego tries to hide. When Andrés walks up to her, Diego tries to come closer to overhear them. Francesca apologizes to him for Fausta, and Andrés starts talking about love not following logic, which makes her nervous. After some more rattling about love, Francesca tries to send him away, and he does. Diego then sits next to her, and asks what he wanted, but Francesca says that she didn't understand him, but she feels better now that the truth is out and she could apologize so they decide that they should tell Violetta about them today. But when Francesca asks Violetta if they could talk, Violetta picks a fight and Francesca leaves angrily. Camila defends her and says that she really needed to tell her something important, and she wouldn't listen, and Violetta tells her that she's right. When Violetta finds her again, she apologizes and offers to talk. Francesca wants to go somewhere quiet, but right before they leave, Alex holds her up and Francesca realizes that the moment slipped through her fingers again and leaves. Francesca then goes to Diego to talk to him about it. Diego tells her that she shouldn't pressure herself, no one said this was going to be easy. Francesca thanks him, and they hug. Andrés, who was talking with Camila, then sees them, and thinks that they are together due to his advice.

In episode 44, when Camila sees them hug, she tells Andrés that they're just friends, but to Andrés it's obvious that they're together and says that Diego has always been in love with Francesca. Andrés then runs to them, before Camila has the chance to stop him, and he congratulates them and tells them that he knew that they were meant for each other. Francesca denies, but Andrés says that he can see it. He tells Diego that he's glad he took his advice, because if he was in love with Fausta, he was always in love with Francesca. Francesca looks confused, but Diego's face agrees. Camila congratulates them on being a couple but Francesca says that they're not. Andrés understands, it's probably too soon to give it a label, and Diego agrees. Camila then says she won't tell anyone and says that Andrés shouldn't either, and he agrees. He hopes they will be very happy together and leaves. Francesca is then sure about telling Violetta now. She goes to Violetta's room, and right when the words are about to leave her mouth, Alex walks in and she rolls her eyes and leaves. Downstairs, she gathers the strength to go back up again, but when she hears the door opening, she hides behind the couch and overhears Ludmila and Priscila talk badly about Natalia. She then goes to Diego, and tells her that she couldn't tell her again, and they sing together to cheer her up, and they agree that they will talk to Violetta together the next day. The next day, Francesca is incredibly nervous, so Diego proposes to sing to calm her down. They sing his song together and Violetta joins them. Afterward, Francesca is so nervous that she blurts out that Diego wants to tell her something, but Violetta is distracted and leaves. Later, Diego and Francesca agree that they will just have to insist on talking to her, or else she is never going to listen. They start arguing about it never being a good time and always having an excuse to delay the inevitable. Francesca then stops and asks why they are arguing, she doesn't want to. Diego responds by saying that they are because they're worried by the situation and they're scared. Francesca then reminds him that they're together, and Diego once told her that whenever they're together, nothing bad can happen to them and he always manages to put a smile on her face. Diego laughs and says that he would love to kiss her, but he prefers to ask her first. She laughs and leans in to kiss him. But unbeknownst to them, Ludmila saw and overheard them and takes a picture of the two kissing.

In episode 45, Ludmila is very proud of herself and wants to grab Diego and Francesca's attention. They get nervous and walk up to her, Francesca is shocked to learn that she took a photo of them. Ludmila then threatens to send the photo to Violetta, but they tell her that the two of them should be the ones telling her. Ludmila thinks that if they wanted to the right thing, they wouldn't be sneaking around like two little kids, and leaves. Francesca gets stressed but Diego tells her to let her go because he has a plan. After talking with Diego, Federico manages to get Ludmila to delete the picture. At the studio, Diego and Francesca brainstorm about how they're going to tell Violetta about them. Francesca says that she thinks about the moment and starts to tremble because she can't think of a way to tell her without her being hurt. Diego proposes to write a card, and rewrite it as many times as needed, like they're writing the perfect love song, and they immediately go to work. The next day, Diego tries to be there for Francesca as much as he can when she gives the envelope to Violetta, who is still very distracted. Later, Diego and Francesca sing together, and Francesca is nervous because she still hasn't heard anything from Violetta, and Diego says that she might not have read it yet, or she's reading it right now. Francesca is afraid that she is furious and never wants to see her again but Diego reassures her that she will realize that their friendship is the most important thing in the world and that nothing could break it. This calms her down and she tells him that she loves him as she gets closer to him, he smiles and they kiss. Francesca then notices Violetta standing in the doorway, staring at them, and Francesca lets go of Diego. Diego turns his head to Violetta but then turns back to look at his girlfriend, who seems very anxious.

In episode 46, Violetta is upset with Francesca for not telling her, but she's not hurt that they're together. Diego observes carefully as the two girls are crying, and when Violetta leaves, he tells her not to cry and that it's okay as he wipes her tears. When Francesca thinks she lost her best friend, Diego tells her no, and hugs her tightly. Once they feel better, they find the others watching a video of Andrés talking about dating your best friend's ex, and they ask if it's about them. Francesca gets upset, because Violetta is already angry, and leaves. Camila tells Diego to go with her because she's upset, but Diego is mad and immediately goes to look for Andrés, which scares the boys so they follow him. That night, Ludmila tells Violetta that she knew before her and that they're even worse than she is. Right then, Diego enters her room and Ludmila leaves. Violetta reassures him that it doesn't bother her that they're together, and it doesn't even bother her that she's last person to find out, but she's hurt that Francesca didn't tell or trust her. Diego tries to explain, but Violetta doesn't care. Diego insists that they were only thinking about her this entire time, but Violetta doesn't believe him. He tries to defend his girlfriend by saying that everything she did was because she was scared of losing her, but Violetta says that she's lost her by lying to her, which shocks him. The next day, Diego wants to talk to Andrés, but he's very scared of him and runs away. Not long after, Francesca finds him and holds him in place, Diego then comes from the other side, looking very angry with him. They try to tell him why he cannot just share their private life to the whole world. Diego says it's incredible how he doesn't understand anything, and leaves before he could do something he'd regret. When Diego finds Francesca after, he asks her how she is and says he's relieved that they're at least together in this moment, and they hug. Later, the habit of sneaking around has not yet left them as they only hug for a short time in public, while looking around if anyone sees them. But Martín takes her with him to talk about the deal, and Diego is left uncomfortable. The next day, Francesca asks Diego why he didn't answer his phone or read his messages. Diego responds by saying that he didn't dare to answer because he knows how bad the studio's situation is, and now she's gotten a possibility to move on with her solo career, and it's in her country, too. Francesca doesn't understand, and he says he didn't dare to answer because he was scared to hear the worst news. She asks if he really believes that she's thinking about continuing her career in Europe. Diego replies that he doesn't just believe it, he thinks it's the best for her. She says that the best for her, is him, but Diego doesn't believe that. Francesca says that she gave everything for him, including losing her best friend, how could she ever leave him, or the studio when it needs her more than ever. She is a little offended that he thinks of her like that. The next day, Diego hides when he sees Francesca walk in with the producer and overhears their deal, and leaves when he hears her confirm that she will leave with him if he decides to invest in the studio. Later, Maxi asks Diego what's up when he looks sad and is quiet. He tells Maxi about the deal he overheard between his girlfriend and the producer, and that the worst part is that she accepted. Maxi can't believe it, and neither can Diego. They then overhear the producer telling Angie and Germán that he doesn't have any more doubts, Diego stands up nervously. Francesca wants to explain that it's not what he thinks but Diego doesn't want to hear it, because he very clearly overheard them. She tells him that she just wants to help the studio. Before Diego can respond, Martín walks in and tells them that the investments have begun and wants to show them the piano that he bought. Francesca gets excited, but Diego's heart only breaks in more pieces. When Martín tells Francesca to start packing her bags because they are going to start launching her career in Europe now, Diego walks out. Francesca wants to follow him but Martín stops her and tells her that they cannot lose more time. They start singing, but Francesca keeps looking back over her shoulder to look for Diego. Later, the others get together and Diego is so upset with his girlfriend that he tells the others to just start without her. The next day, Diego tells his father that they cannot trust the producer and they shouldn't accept his help. When Gregorio doesn't change his mind, Diego starts begging him but when he still doesn't listen, Diego yells that he doesn't want Francesca to sacrifice herself for the whole studio. This grabs Gregorio's attention and Diego explains and asks for his help. Later, Francesca tells Diego that she never wanted to lie to him but when she was talking with Martín, they were fighting and distant from one another. Diego just wants to know one thing, if she wants to leave. When she says that she wants to help the studio, he tells her that he didn't ask that and she responds that she doesn't want to leave him, but she can't stay either knowing she could have helped the studio. Diego gets closer to her and with the last piece of hope he has left, he tells her that it's not her responsibility to save the studio, they can look for other alternatives. Francesca says there is no time and there is no other option, she has to do this. Martín then walks in and wants to talk, but Francesca isn't in the mood and leaves, and Diego follows her.

Diego shrugs and looks down, and Violetta once again reassures him that she's very happy that they're together. Diego thanks her for understanding, but unfortunately, he will now be separated from her and he tries to leave. Violetta stops him and notices the hurt in his face, and says that she knows him, and she knows Francesca, and knows that they fought hard to be together. She says she knows now how much they love each other, and that he should take advantage of the time they have left, he should find her and they should be together. She reminds him that there is nothing so serious that should stop them from being together. Diego realizes that she's right and runs out with a smile on his face. Diego tells her that he doesn't want to be away from her for even a second and they both agree that they don't remember why they were fighting. He says that if it's her decision to go Italy, he must be there for her, always. Francesca sighs and confesses that she didn't know it would all happen so fast, she can't believe she's leaving next week. She tells him that this reminds her of her parents, and asks if she can call him father-in-law. Gregorio is offended by this because he thinks he's too young to be a father-in-law but tells Francesca to go find Diego to tell him that she's not leaving because he will be very happy. Francesca thanks him, quickly calls him father-in-law and runs out. Diego and Francesca sing together, and she says she's glad they don't have to hide anymore, and Diego is glad that she's here and she's not leaving anymore but Francesca looks sad. Diego reminds her that there are more ways to help out, so she shouldn't worry about that anymore. Diego, already knowing his girlfriend is about to get annoyed, says he has a plan and whispers to the captain when the last boat to Sevilla leaves, the captain answers but Diego asks him to lower his voice so Francesca doesn't hear, but she does and she says she's standing right there. Diego then nervously proposes to have dinner but Francesca shakes her head in disbelief.

The next day, Francesca stares over the water as the ferry is on it's way back to Sevilla. Diego comes up to her and tells her he doesn't like to see her like this and tells her he will do everything he can for them to make it to the show on time. He tells her that even though she's tired and angry, she's more attractive than ever. Francesca doesn't believe him because she slept on a deck chair on a boat, is starving and hasn't showered for two days. But Diego says she's beautiful and tells her to give him a hug and he pulls her closer. While hugging, he starts to sniff and jokes that she does smell a little funny and Francesca immediately pulls away from him. Diego starts laughing hysterically and Francesca tells him that he smells like he belongs with a hippopotamus and won't let him get closer to her than one meter, and she walks away while Diego tries to tell her that it was a joke. Arriving in Sevilla, Francesca thinks she looks like a mess and says she honestly never wanted him to see her like this. But Diego thinks she's gorgeous and Francesca then calls him cute and wants a hug, but they're already running late for the show so they keep walking in a fast pace to look for a bus or a taxi. After walking through many streets, they still haven't found a bus or taxi and Diego doesn't want to admit that he has no idea where they are. Right when Francesca is about to argue with him, a taxi pulls up next to him, and recognizes them and says to hop in his car. Once inside, it's clear that the driver is obsessed with them, especially Francesca, as her photos are all over his car, and he calls her attractive. He starts singing Te Creo and they sing along with a few words but stops him and tells him that they're grateful, but they should really get to their show and they ask him to start driving. But he wants to take a photo with them first, and Diego is starting to get annoyed so when he doesn't smile, Francesca begs him to smile so they can take the photo and leave. But the driver then wants to call his daughters and shushes Diego when he tries to tell him no, and Diego starts arguing so Francesca proposes to sing for him, if he drives them. And they then continue singing Te Creo while the taxi finally takes off. After a while, it becomes clear that the driver made them sing so much, that they don't know any more songs to sing for him and he stops, and reveals that he'd been secretly recording them the whole time. Diego and Francesca, now upset with him, want to leave but Manelo reveals that he doesn't have kids at all, he's their number one fan, and declares his love for Francesca. Now completely weirded out, they leave the car immediately and start running away from the car, while the man begs them to stay. Just when Angie tells the group that Diego and Francesca didn't make it in time, so the group would have to adapt, they run in.
After the show and the wedding, Diego, Francesca and the others go back to the studio and remember all the good times they had there.Quotes[]
